SpiderOak automatically recognizes any new and/or edited document, song, photo, or movie and backs it up in real time without you ever having to think, wonder or worry. This automated system works in the background – never slowing down Internet connections or applications. SpiderOak stores all historical versions of files, can synchronize folders across multiple devices, and supports online sharing.
They have desktop client software for Windows, Mac, Linux 32 bit, and Linux 64 bit. They’ve also open sourced some of their code. There’s a growing count of online file storage and backup services out there. They have free plan that includes 2GB of space and pay plans up to 100Gb.
